Password Change Procedure (Windows)

1. Download the ‘putty’ software from http://mail.rvrjcce.ac.in/putty.exe.
2. Click open the putty icon and enter the following details.
   1. On-campus & city Centre
      1. Server ip: 10.1.1.111
      2. Port: 222
   2. Off-campus
      1. Server ip: 218.248.4.111
      2. Port: 222
3. Accept the putty security alert by clicking yes and proceed.
4. Enter the user credentials.
   1. Login as: username
   2. Password: password

Now the mail server provides a command prompt.

1. Change the password by typing ‘password’ Fill the required information. Be sure to select a strong password.
2. Logout of the server by typing ‘logout’ or ‘exit’
